It’s water based so its best to be used as the second step when double cleansing. Oil cleanser but not a cleansing oil.

Very surprising to me when I realized that this cleanser was very drying. And the fact that it's actually marketed for dry to very dry skin, I also really dislike the fact that it is marketed as a foaming oil cleanser when it's really not an oil cleanser.
